Leslie Puffer Leslie Puffer died Jan. 4, 2009, at age 88. Leslie Puffer was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Ree Heights, S.D. During World War II, he served in the Navy in the South Pacific. He was president of Howard Brewton, a building contractor, and lived in Milwaukie for about 20 years before moving to Keizer in about 1989. In 1941, he married Lucille Robinson; she died in August . Survivors include his daughter, Judy McCafferty; stepsons, Deane Robertson and Lee Robertson; six grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Remembrances to charity. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden.
