Beatrice N. Avila, 

95, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009 at La Mesa Healthcare Center of Yuma. 

Beatrice was born July 13, 1913 in Yuma to Rosario Cota Avila and Mariano Avila. 
Beatrice graduated from Yuma High School. Beatrice was the office manager for J. C. 
Penney Co. and retired from J. C. Penney Co. 

Beatrice was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Yuma. Beatrice was defined 
by her loving and positive outlook on life and her relationship with family and friends. 
Bea will be missed. 

Beatrice is survived by nephews; Edward Ochoa, Robert Ochoa, Arthur Gonzales, 
Adolph Molina; nieces, Mrs. Elva Monroe and Mrs. Olivia Benson. Beatrice is also 
survived by many grand nieces and nephews. 

Beatrice was preceded in death by where you would type your text for her parents, 
Rosario Cota Avila and Mariano Avila; siblings, Mr. Edward Avila, Mr. Louis Avila, Mrs. 
Anita Ochoa, Mrs. Mary Gonzales, Mrs. Consuela Molina. A Mass will be at St. Francis 
of Assisi on Monday, April 20, 2009, 10 a.m. Final resting place will be the old Yuma 
Cemetery.
