Teresa Rivera Ashford 

Born June 7, 1915 in Nogales, AZ, where she lived the better part 
of her 94 years. Passed away peacefully August 9, 2009, at her 
home in Tucson surrounded by her loved ones. She is now reunited 
with Gus, her beloved husband of 64 years. Teddy, known to many 
as "OMA" was a devoted homemaker and a passionate and talented 
artist. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Rudy; 
husband, Gus; brother, Rosario Rivera and sister, Socorro Damon. 
She is survived by her children, Cecilia and Danny (Roni); her 
two sisters, Isabel Culebro and Leonarda Wilde (Bill); 11 
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-granddaughter. Services will be held at Sacred Heart 
Church, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Rosary from 2:00 
to 2:30 p.m. and Mass at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment at 
Nogales Cemetery.
