Fred M. Augenstein born July 23, 1935 in Williams, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2009 in Parks, Arizona. Fred served our great Nation in the U.S. Navy as a Seabees. During his lifetime he owned several businesses with his most current being Mayberrys Custom Metal Fabrication in Yuma. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with his family. Fred is survived by his two daughters , Donna (Pat) George and Julie (Tim) Mitchell; 4 grandchildren, Brandie Luna, Pattie Moreno, Cody and Jacob Mitchell; 4 great-grandchildren, all of Yuma; sister, Evelyn (Bill) Huster of Hemet, California; two brothers, Tom Augenstein of Flagstaff, Arizona and John Augenstein of Williams, Arizona. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and two sons. Services will be held in Flagstaff on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff with viewing at 10:00 a.m., service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial immediately following in Williams. A memorial service will also take place in Yuma on September 29, 2009, 4:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 1815 S. 8th Avenue, Yuma.
