Beach, Bradley Woods BRADLEY WOODS BEACH U.S. Air Force, Retired SSgt. SSgt. Bradley Woods Beach, a 40-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at home with family surrounding him, Jan. 21, 2010. He was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Hartford, Conn., and attended Fessenden School, in West Newton, Mass. Bradley graduated from Salisbury Preparatory School, in Salisbury, Conn., in 1955. He was a member of the Connecticut Air National Guard from 1954 to 1956. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1956, retiring at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, in 1976. Bradley was a jet engine instructor for most of his Air Force career. While at Nellis, he was a Scout Master and committee member for Troop 374. Bradley received his degree in education at UNLV, becoming a Clark County substitute teacher for many years. Bradley had a great passion for wood carving and traveling. Travels took him to 49 of the 50 states, as well as Antarctica and several European countries. Bradley is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Donna; sons, Kenneth and his wife, Lisa, and Joseph and his partner, Stacy Conrad; grandchildren, Adam, Brittney, Kenny, Logan, Tiffany and Faith; as well as a half-brother, Thomas Beach of Glen Falls, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. He was loved deeply by his friends and family and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Conn., at a later date.
