Evans, Maria Christina "Tina"

66, of Gilbert, AZ was peacefully called home by the Lord 
surrounded by those she loved on Feb. 9th 2010 after a long 
and courageous 4 year battle with breast cancer. Tina was 
born on Sept. 7th 1943 to Cosme and Maria Luisa Barcelo. 
She grew up in Tucson AZ and moved to Phoenix in 1970. 
Her roots run deep in the community where she sold real 
estate for over 20 years. She was employed by Arizona Best 
Real Estate for that entire period. She was one of the most 
"other centered" people we have ever known and a true lover 
of children. She is survived by husband Rayl Evans, son Dave 
and Jessica Wright of Gilbert, step-daughter Amy Evans-
Lingenfelter and Rome Lingenfelter of Portland, OR, and 3 
grandchildren Matthew & Ashton Wright, and Max Lingenfelter. 
She is also survived by brothers Frank & Rudy Barcelo of 
Tucson AZ and Cosme Barcelo of San Antonio TX. Numerous 
Aunts, Uncles, and cousins mostly of Tucson, AZ where the 
family was raised. Memorial will be held on Feb 19 at 1:00pm 
at Voyage Church 670 N. Arizona Ave. Chandler AZ.
