Markley, Paula Pianfetti Paula Pianfetti Markley, 66, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010, after an 8-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Paula was born in Denver, CO, to Paul and Agnes Pianfetti, She has a sister, Patricia Marino of Denver, and a brother, Phillip of Franktown, CO. Paula attended Holy Family HS in Denver and graduated from Colorado State University with a BS with honors, in Child Psychology. Paula was elected Epsilon Beta chapter President of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and belonged to the KKG Alumni groups in both Denver and Seattle. Paula married Thomas Markley in 1965 and has a daughter Anne (Jason) Rosauer, and a son, Steven. Her six grandchildren, Justin, Adam, Danielle, Matthew, Joey and Ben were her greatest joy. Paula was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. She had a gentle voice, contagious smile, and warm heart. She made an impression on everyone she met. Spending time with her family, playing bridge, traveling with friends, and her church community were some of the many things that made her life full. Prior to retirement, Paula enjoyed working for Trammell Crow Company in the Commercial Real Estate Division where she focused on supporting Microsoft's real estate. She spent her last two years with the best care possible. We'd like to thank Whispering Creek Adult Family Home in Bellevue (Angelica and John Muntean and caregivers) and Pine Lake Adult Family Home in Sammamish (Vivian Pop and caregivers). They all treated Paula as part of their family and provided her such a wonderful place to call home. Finally, to Sharon/Dave, Helen/Joe, Ann/Larry, Jan/Don, Joanne, Cathey, Janet, Judy, Pat, the Bridge Group, the Kappas, her adopted sister, Sue Markley VanTassel, and all her other dear friends, we believe Paula would want to say, "Thank you for making my life so happy and I'll be waiting for you". A memorial will be held at St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church, 4400 130th Place SE, Bellevue, WA, Wednesday, March 10th, at 11:00am.
