Evans, Maria Christina

Maria Christina "Tina" Evans 66, of Gilbert, AZ was peacefully 
called home by the Lord surrounded by those she loved on 
February 9, 2010 after a long and courageous four year battle 
with breast cancer. Born on September 7, 1943 to Cosme and 
Maria Barcelo she grew up in Tucson. Her roots run deep in 
Arizona. She was one of the most "other centered" people we 
have ever known and a true lover of children. She is survived 
by husband, Rayl Evans; son, Dave Wright of Gilbert and three 
grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Frank, Cosme, 
Rudy Barcelo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins mostly 
of Tucson. Memorial will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 
at 1:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N. Tanque
