Puckett, Leo N. Age 86, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2010. He was born in Atchison County, Kansas. He moved to Seattle in the early 1940's where he married Betty Grace in 1944. He was a member of the Armed Forces Medic Division, Task Force Frigid, during WWII, and based in the Arctic. He retired from Seattle City Light after 30 years of service. Leo's favorite hobbies throughout the years included camping and hiking with his family at Mt. Rainier and Deception Pass, touring on his Harley Davidson, Square Dancing, as well as his beautiful flower gardens. Leo also enjoyed endless hours spent with his grandchildren. Leo is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty; his daughters, Kathy Redburn (Ken), and Nancy Papetti (Sal); his 4 grandchildren; Savior, Denise, Keary, and Amy; and great-grandchildren, Travis, Traye, and Kayden. He was preceded in death in 2001 by his son, Wayne. Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, June 12th at 11 AM at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel 508 North 36th St., Seattle, 98103. Interment to follow at Holyrood Cemetery.
