Poe, Frederick William Frederick William Poe, 75, of Boise, passed on July 6, 2010, at home with his family. Fred was born April 8, 1935, in Placerville, Calif., to Dorothy Julia Wentz and William Mosher. At two weeks of age moved to Warren, Idaho, where he began his many adventures with fishing, hunting and attending his early schoolings. Then family moved to Cascade and then Boise, where he attended Whitney, South Jr. High, and Boise High. He was joined by three brothers, Charles, Michael, and Beaver Poe, who all three preceded him in passing, along with his mother and father, one daughter, Terri Mackey. He leaves behind his adoring and loving wife, Barbara Reed Poe, son and daughter in-law David (Charlotte) Reed, granddaughter Robin Reed, daughter Tammy (Carter) Savage, Sara, Mathew, Debbie (Larry) Wighthead, Michael (Tracy) Poe, and his pets Hootch and Jake. A brief service will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Dry Creek Veterans section at 11 a.m. Our lives will always feel blessed for having you. The streams, lakes and mountains will miss you as those who love you so dearly. Remember we will fish and hunt, and enjoy nature when we join you on the other side of this life.
