J. David Acuna 

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2002, in the Portland East 
Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for J. David 
Acuna, who died July 21 at age 62. 

Mr. Acuna was born July 20, 1940, in Holbrook, Ariz. He moved to 
Portland in 1960 and was a shipping clerk for Sulzer Pumps for 20 years. 
In 1963, he married Kathleen Lupher. 

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Charlene Smith; mother, Mary Duran; 
brothers, Frank Acuna and David Lopez; sisters, Lucille Fisher and 
Veronica Duran; and one grandchild.
