BABBITT, Ronald P. October 2, 1932 - December 20, 2006


Ron passed away with his family beside him onDecember
20, 2006 after a three year battle with cancer. He was
born October 2, 1932 in San Francisco, CA to Francis
and Lucille Babbitt. At a very early age the family
moved to Spokane where he spent the rest of his life.
Ron attended North Central High School and in 1952
joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served four years
active duty. Upon his discharge Ron worked for 40
years driving truck for Service Tank Lines, J.J.
William, and Cenex Transportation. In 1994 he retired
from driving tanker and began driving logging truck
for Silver City Lumber. Ron leaves behind his loving
wife Carol of 35 years; daughters, Suzanne Snitchuck,
Cathie (Wayne) Green, Candi (Kelly) Boyer all of
Spokane; and son, Chuck DePue of North Bend, WA; 10
grandchildren and 6 1/2 great-grandchildren.Memorial
Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006, 1 PM at
Bible Baptist Church, 11111 E. 16th Ave., Spokane
Valley, WA 99206. In lieu of flowers, contributions
may be made to family at 1503 N. Mesa, Spokane 99212.
