Dick BABBITT Passed away peacefully on June 25th at his home in Sun Lakes, Az. He is survived by his wife, Irene, of 38 years, his sons, Ron and Ed, daughter in law, Debbie, stepson, Bruce Moloney, sisters, Berniece Awmiller, Doris Patterson and brother, Rex. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Alice and his brother, Ken. He left behind seven grandchildren, Mike, Chelsey, Brandon, Chris, Shawn, Eric and Brian, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dick was born on November 25th, 1942, in Amhurst, South Dakota. He moved to the Seattle area in 1942, where he resided until 1991. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Dick was an avid bird hunter, enjoyed fishing, golfing and being with his many friends. he will be missed immensely by his friends and family. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 14th, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. (1575-145th Pl SE, Bellevue, Wa) In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Hospice of the Valley at 1510 East Flower St., Phoenix, Az, 85014.
