Arthur Bibbs 

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Tremont Evangelical 
Church for Arthur Bibbs, who died Sept. 12 at age 88. 

Arthur Bibbs was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Springfield, Mo., where he was raised. He 
served in the Army during World War II and then moved to Portland. He owned Art's 
Sanitary Service and was a member of the church. In 1999, he married Jean L. Kilborn. 

Survivors include his wife; stepdaughter, Cheryl Stoffer; nieces; and one grandchild.
