Bernadine Lenora Babcock 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Portland 
Memorial Funeral Home for Bernadine Lenora Babcock, who died May 24 
at age 87. Ms. Babcock was born Bernadine Lenora Martini on Jan. 17, 
1914, in Portland, where she lived all her life. She graduated from 
Commerce High School. She was a PBX operator for 35 years, first for 
Ross Island Sand & Gravel and then for the Lloyd Center Nordstrom until 
retiring in about 1979. 

Survivors include her nephew, Richard Martini. 

Interment in Portland Memorial Mausoleum. Remembrances to the Oregon 
Humane Society.
