Joyce L. Brouwer 

Joyce L. Brouwer passed away Monday, February 24, 1997. Born July 7, 1919 in 
Corson, South Dakota, she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1937. She 
loved spending time at her cabin on Hood Canal and was an active member of 
Eagles Aerie No. 3. She enjoyed dancing and traveling. Survivors include her 
daughters, Brenda MacKinnon and her husband, John, of Juneau, AK, Gayle 
Sandison and her husband, Derek, of Cle Elum; her brother, Homer Puariea and 
his wife, Marion, of Puyallup; and three grandchildren. She will be greatly missed 
by family and friends. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at the 
Mountain View Valley Chapel, with a reception following at the PuyallupEagles, 
202 5th NW in Puyallup. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Fred 
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle.
