Marian Beach 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2002, in the chapel of 
Oregon Baptist Retirement Homes in Portland for Marian Beach, who died 
July 4 at age 84. 

Marian Hoffmann was born May 20, 1918, in Clearfield, Pa. She was a 
retired registered nurse who moved to Portland from Pennsylvania in 1981. 
In 1948, she married Earl C. Hoffmann; he died in 1992. In 1997, she 
married Gerald D. Beach. 

Survivors include her husband; sons, Kenneth Hoffmann and Robert 
Hoffmann; and six grandchildren.
