Ralph W. Beach 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, in Willamette National 
Cemetery for Ralph W. Beach, who died Jan. 27 at age 87. 

Mr. Beach was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Havensville, Kan. During World War II, he 
served in the Army in Europe. He was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 
years in Eugene, where he lived for 50 years before moving to Portland in 2000. In 
1942, he married Hazel Morton. 

Survivors include his wife; son, Larry; daughter, Barbara Ruhlman; sisters, Rosalie 
Simpson and Helen Pagel; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
