Albert E. BAAB (Age79) born October 13, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA.; passed away March 22, 2003 in Spokane, WA. Albert is survived by his son: Carlton Hage Baab and his wife Sharon of Saratoga, CA.; daughter: Susanne Baab Simpson and her husband Tom of Spokane, WA; grandchildren: Courtney C. Simpson, Connor T. Simpson and Taylor R. Simpson all of Spokane, WA., Kaitlyn A. Baab, Lindsey M. Baab and Cameron M. Baab all of Saratoga, CA. Albert is preceded in death by his wife Barbara H. Baab whom he married on April 26, 1952. Barbara passed away September 16, 2001. He served in the Navy on the USS Prichett DD-561, FC2, WWII. He was also a custom-made furniture maker in Seattle, WA for almost 50 years. Albert came to Spokane in October of 2001 and he flourished there. He loved his ability to "cruise" in his electric wheelchair, enjoyed Museums and art, but mostly his family and grandchildren. He was a joyous man, enthusiastic and full of a love for people and life. He lived in our community for 18 months.
