Paul H. Babbitt 

Paul H. Babbitt died May 4, 2005, at age 78. 

Mr. Babbitt was born May 31, 1926, in Kalamazoo, Mich. During World War II, he 
served in the Navy in the Pacific. After the war, he graduated from Michigan State 
University and received a master's degree from Columbia University. He moved to 
Portland in 1979, and was a rehabilitation counselor for the Veterans Administration 
Hospital in Vancouver. In 1949, he married Ruth L. Rogers. 

Survivors include his wife; sons, Gregory R. and Douglas E.; brother, E. Holt; and 
sister, Margret Flemming.
