Rebecca Mary (Puckett) Chromoga Passed away on October 11, 2001 in Federal Way, WA after a long illness. She was born on April 17, 1912 in Wilkeson, WA. She attended school in Tono, WA and St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Tacoma, WA. She graduated from Central Washington College in Ellensburg. She taught school in Carbonado, WA during the depression, then in Sunnyside, WA and for 30 years as a Kindergarten Teacher at Lister Elementary School in Tacoma, WA. She and her husband, Ted, resided in Tacoma until 1966 when they moved to Puyallup, WA. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on May 11, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Ted; daughter, Linda Draper and son-in-law, Robert Draper, of Puyallup; two grandsons, whom she doted upon, Shonn Robert Draper of Puyallup, WA and Joel McKinley Draper and his wife Holly of Spokane, WA; sister-in-law, Lucille Conway of Fairbanks, AK and niece Robin MacInnis of Houston, TX. A memorial service will be held at Edgewood Community Church, 1720 Meridian East, Edgewood, WA 98371 at 1 PM on Monday, October 15, 2001. Pub Date: 10/14/2001 Tacoma News Tribune
