Josephine Collum 

Josephine Collum died Sept. 5, 2005, at age 87.
Josephine Alonzo was born March 19, 1918, in Sonora,
Ariz. She lived most of her life in Los Angeles, where
she was a homemaker and custodian before moving to
Portland in about 1990. She moved to Beaverton last
March. In 1989, she married Steve; he died in 1991. 

Survivors include her daughters, Hazel Jimenez,
Barbara Blanusa, Esther Robbins, Lillian Polizzi, Edie
Osuna, Virginia Seals, Audrey Shaff, and Wanda Medina;
son, Billy Medina; sisters, Aurora Perez, Celia
Mendoza, Delores Ontiveros and Audrey Alonzo; brother,
Chucker Alonzo; 25 grandchildren; and 34
great-grandchildren. Her daughter Ramona Rathfelder
died in 1986.
