Antonia Tosca CARSON March 1, 1923 - March 11, 2006 Born in Warsaw, Poland, to Richard and Irena Puchalski, Antonia survived the German Occupation and was later arrested and sent to German slave labor camps. Antonia and her first son, Richard, were the only two extended family members of 19 that survived the war. It was in Saalfelden, Austria where her mother, Irena was laid to rest and where she met and married SGT Gordon F. Carson of E- Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne [Band of Brothers]. The marriage lasted 14 years and produced four children. She arrived in Staten Island, New York in October 1946 and later became a United States Citizen. Antonia arrived in Seattle, Washington in September 1962. She devoted her life to raising her five children and was employed as an Assistant Accountant in the Seattle area until she retired. She loved to work in her garden, provide food for animal friends who visited her garden daily, and she held a passion for the caring and nurturing of her pets. She is survived by sons, Richard Levandowski (Carol), Gary (Marcela), and Gordy (Susan); two daughters, Antoinette and Suzanne (Lonnie); seven grandchildren, Edwin Wall III, Peter (Nancy), Daniel, Michael, Gary, Maria, and Kyle. Her family will always remember Antonia for her sacrifices and unquestionable love.
