Phyllis Ann Esping A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in the Community Congregational Church in Naselle, Wash., for Phyllis Ann Esping, who died Feb. 16 at age 76. Phyllis Baker was born May 17, 1928, in Phoenix, Ariz. She moved to Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School and later received teaching credentials at Western Washington State College. She taught for Portland Public Schools for 35 years, including at Chief Joseph, Irvington and Martin Luther King elementary schools. Survivors include her daughters, Lori Madrigal, Amy Gowan, Beth Larson and Eileen Esping; sons, Daniel and Ron Jr.; brothers, Jerry Baker and Cullen Baker; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
