JEWEL B. FLOWERS - Loving Mother Aug. 6, 1913 - Jan. 15, 2000. On January 15, 2000 the angels came for Jewel B. Flowers, who passed away at the Heritage Health Care Center after an extended illness. Jewel B. Flowers, a retired school dietician from Dothan, AL, moved to Tacoma 10 years ago to be with her only child. She was born to the late Willie and Channie Beachem in Houston County, AL, and is preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Here to mourn her include one son and daughter-in-law, Willie C. and Bertha L. Lewis of Tacoma, WA; sisters Arlene Pugh of Washington, DC; Evangelist Helen (Charles) Mitchell of Newark, NJ; four granddaughters, Jewel V. and Vanessa D. of Tacoma, WA; Cynthia A. (Gary) Barney of Jackson, MS; Kimberly (Dioncio) Durrette of Long Beach, CA; twelve great- grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family especially would like to thank the staff at Heritage Health Care Center, 7411 Pacific Ave., for their compassionate care of our mother and grandmother. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 23rd from 1pm-9pm; wake services 5pm-7pm at Mountain View Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held Monday, Jan. 24th at 1 p.m. at Mt.
