Bonnie Jean Beach HEMSTAD 

Born March 11, 1926, died November 10th, 2008. Born in Enumclaw, WA to Chauncey 
Edwin Beach, superintendent of schools in Enumclaw and Auburn and to Minnie 
McRae Beach, teacher in the Seattle school district. She attended Garfield High 
School and University of Washington. Member of Garfield Golden Grads and member 
of Alpha Zee Delta, University of Washington. Married Alf David Hemstad on June 14, 
1947 who preceded her in death in 1982. She retired from Rainier Bank as Assistant 
Vice President. Survived by brother Richard Beach of Enumclaw; daughters Teresa 
Hemstad of Renton, Diane Lynn of Seattle; and son Richard Hemstad of Kent; 3 
grandchildren: David Hemstad, Douglas Johnson and Sherrilynn Johnson; 3 
great-grandchildren, and many friends and family.
