Virginia Hanifin 

A memorial gathering will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2001, in the 
Multnomah County Central Library for Virginia Hanifin, who died June 29 at 
age 61. Mrs. Hanifin was born Virginia Alice Babb on Aug. 30, 1939, in 
Milwaukee. She was a homemaker and moved to Portland from San 
Francisco in 1971. In 1961, she married Jon M. Hanifin. 

Survivors include her husband; sons, Charles and Michael; and one 
grandchild.
