Linda Peace Johnson Linda joined God#s angels on April 3rd after a hard fought battle with cancer. Linda was born April 11, 1955 in Hamilton, Montana of Jan and Earl Peace. After her childhood in Bozeman, MT, Linda received her B.S. in nursing from the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1977 and Master#s of Public Health with honors from John Hopkins University in 1987. Linda devoted her life to helping others at ICU units in Portland, OR; London, England; Umea, Sweden; and the Pediatric ICU at Children#s Hospital in Seattle. After bedside care, Linda devoted herself to medical research and nursing statistics with Franciscan Hospice and at Good Samaritan Hospital. Linda loved traveling, camping and climbing. She celebrated her parents 50th anniversary on the Oregon coast; climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania; and with family and friends at Yosemite, Grand Tetons, Squamish, B.C. and City of Rocks, ID. She also sky dived in WA and scuba dived in Hawaii. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 12 years, Jeff, her son Zachary and daughter Nanda Devi; parents Jan and Earl Peace of Bozeman, MT; sister and family, Karen, Dan, Kaye and Tracy Cheever of Beaverton, OR; parents-in-law Dot and Norm Johnson of Tacoma; and brother-in-law and family, Jerry, Debbie, Shavonne, Lauren and Matt Johnson of Edmonds, WA; as well as many, many friends. A celebration of Linda#s life will be held on Thursday, April 10th, 2:00 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church, 8401 112th St. E., Puyallup.
