Maude Ione Learfield 

A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, in Belle Passi Cemetery 
in Woodburn for Maude Ione Learfield, who died Feb. 22 at age 101. 

Maude Ione Babb was born May 14, 1903, in Casey, Ill., and moved to Needy in 1907. 
She lived most of her life in Canby, where she was a homemaker and a member of 
Canby United Methodist Church. In 1920, she married Ned; he died in 1960. 

Survivors include her grandsons, Randy Smith and Jeff Smith; and nieces, Virginia Keil 
and Lois Sykes; and two great-grandchildren. Her daughter Corinne Smith died in 1973.
