Ellen Guay Eng Liem 

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 6, 2007,
in Loma Linda, Calif., for Ellen Guay Eng Liem, who
died April 25 at age 93. 
Ellen Guay Eng Puah was born July 12, 1913, in Penang,
Malaysia. She was a school teacher in Singapore before
immigrating to Loma Linda, Calif., in 1975, and moving
to Gresham in 1994. A minister's wife, she also helped
her husband in his work in Seventh-day Adventist
churches. In 1933, she married Pastor Daniel; he died
in 1992. 
Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Annie Liem,
Esther Gonzalez and Hannah Young; sons, Dr. Caleb,
Joseph and John; five grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
