Susan Deborah Lee Born December 11, 1940 in Ellensburg, WA to Ralph and Virginia Bice. Sue passed away after a courageous battle with cancer peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 30, 2008. She loved and worried over many friends and family. Second only to Sue's love of reading were the roses in her garden. Surviving family members include Kenneth A. Lee loving and devoted husband, beloved daughter Cindy, son-in-low Steve Quinn who she loved dearly; cherished grandson Jesse Chittick, adored granddaughter Amanda and her caring husband Dusty Bailey and the one who kept her smiling until the end her beautiful little great-grandson Aiden Francis-Lee Bailey. Sue is also survived by her loving brothers and sister-in-law Randy and Donna Bice and Buck Bice. Held close in her heart were her sister-in-laws, Phyllis and Nancy Lee and their families, as well as a dear cousin and friend Max Carver of Yakima, WA. She leaves behind her very best friends Johnnie and Red Hildreth who were like family to her heart. We rest easier knowing Heaven is her new home and she is welcomed with open arms by her mother & father, brother John, father-in-law Charlie and other departed loved ones. Mom, we hope heaven is filled with unending books and a golden casino. You will be so missed, never forgotten and always loved. Your family! Sue will be laid to rest at Old Tacoma Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice would be appreciated. They are angels on earth. Private services to be held. Pub Date: 11/3/2008 Tacoma News Tribune
