Marilyn Beach McAlister 

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13,
2006, in the Palace of Praise United Pentecostal
Church in Aloha for Marilyn Beach McAlister, who died
May 4 at age 72. 

Marilyn Yaw was born April 5, 1934, in Bellingham,
Wash., and moved to Portland as a child. She graduated
from Grant High School and worked in the family
restaurant, Yaw's Top Notch. She was later an office
manager for Group Mackenzie. In 1963, she married
James D.; he died in 1998. 

Survivors include her sons, James and Daniel;
daughter, Toni Brown; and 11 grandchildren.
