Lucy Pacheco-Kaster 

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in Mt. Scott 
Funeral Home for Lucy Pacheco-Kaster, who died Sept. 17 in Coos Bay at 
age 80. Mrs. Pacheco-Kaster was born March 13, 1920, in Troutdale. Her 
maiden name was Jenkins. She graduated from Girls Polytechnic High 
School. She worked out of the stagehands' union until about 1990, helping 
performers with costuming for shows at the Civic Auditorium and Memorial 
Coliseum. In 1940, she married George F. Pacheco; he died in 1971. She 
married Willie H. Kaster in 1994. 

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Kathy Pacheco; stepsons, Paul 
and Kenny; stepdaughter, Joyce Olsen; four grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren. Her son, Rick, died in 1965. 

Private interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests 
remembrances to Disabled American Veterans.
