Dee Peace

Dee Peace, 63, of Milton-Freewater, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at 
Evergeen Rehabilitation and Retirement Center in Milton-Freewater.

Private graveside service and burial will be at the Heppner Masonic 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Peace was born Aug. 6, 1936, at Walla Walla, to Walter and 
Violet Hodgins Edger.

She had been employed as a bartender in Milton-Freewater, retiring in 
1962.

On Oct. 20, 1980, she married Cliff Peace at Dateland, Ariz.

Mrs. Peace enjoyed crafts, especially leatherwork, and loved to play 
bingo.

She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign WArs Post 992 Ladies 
Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Cliff, at the home; her stepmother, 
Norma Edger of Heppner, and a stepbrother, Melvin Wallawine of Yakima.

through Mountain View Funeral Chapel, 1551 Dalles Military Road, 
Walla Walla, WA 99362.
