Harriett Poole Peake 

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2002, in Hinson 
Memorial Baptist Church in Portland for Harriett Poole Peake, who died 
March 12 at age 84. 

Harriett Crandell was born April 7, 1917, in Bergen, N.D. She moved in the 
late 1960s to Portland, where she was a teacher for more than 20 years, 
including in Creston, Lewis and Ainsworth elementary schools. In 1996, 
she married Edward A. "Ted." 

Survivors include her husband; and sister, LaVonne Clausen.
