Wayne F. and Ruth C. PUCKETT Wayne, age 54, was born July 18, 1946 in Kansas City, MO, and moved to Seattle at an early age. He attended St. Benedict's Elementary School and Blanchet High School, graduating from St. Edward's Seminary and Seattle University. Following college he served in the military in the 82nd Airborne. For many years he has been employed at Seattle City Light in the Under ground Network Division. Wayne is survived by his loving parents, Leo and Betty Puckett; his sister, Kathleen Redburn, her husband, Ken, and children, Keary and Amy; and his sister, Nancy Papetti, her husband, Salvatore, and children, Savior and Denise. Ruth, age 46, was born June 17, 1954 in Los Al tos, CA. She graduated from Aptos High School and UCSC, Santa Cruz as well as obtaining a masters degree from the University of Hawaii. She taught English as a second language for several years in various private schools around Seattle. Ruth is survived by her loving mother, Helen Ceideburg; her sister, Joan Ceideburg; and nephew, Brandon Soukup. Wayne and Ruth met at the Nordic Center in Seattle, were married June 18, 1983, and made their home in Ballard. They enjoyed Nordic dancing, the challenge of speaking Swedish, traveling, gatherings with family and friends, the great outdoors, and most especially, sunsets from their cabin on Eliza Island! Wayne and Ruth passed away March 9, 2001 and will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 26th, at 3:30 p.m. at Seattle City Light - North Service Center Auditorium, 1300 N. 97th St. in Seattle.
