Joe Paar 

Joe Paar, 84, passed away April 28, 1998. He was born August 19, 
1913 in Seattle and had resided in the Puyallup-Tacoma area for 35 
years. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sumner. 
Preceded in death by brother Martin, and by sister Ann Aspman. 
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Idamae; daughter Barbara Williams of 
Yakima; son Jim Paar of Seattle; 5 grandchildren, 5 great 
grandchildren; brother Michael Paar of Carnation; numerous nephews 
and nieces. Public viewing Friday 5 - 8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home 
in Sumner. Private family graveside services will be held.
