Phyllis M. Peabody 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002, in St. 
Mary's at McGowan Church in McGowan, Wash., for Phyllis M. Peabody, 
who died June 16 at age 69. 

Phyllis M. Osborne was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Chinook, Wash. She 
moved in 1950 to Portland, later lived in Milwaukie for more than 40 years 
and in 1994 returned to Chinook. She owned a Starr's Silk Screening in 
Portland and the Fish Trap Tavern in Chinook. In 1965, she married 
Michael A.; he died in 1995. 

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Hibbs, Karen Strand and Karol 
Becker; sisters, Shirley Schneider and Kathleen Miller; brother, Wallace 
"Buddy" Osborne, five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
