Carol Ann (Edwards) Pace 

Carol Ann Pace passed away November 16, 2001 at home in the 
presence of her family. Born in Tacoma, May 3, 1940, to parents, 
George and Gladys Edwards. She grew up in Tacoma and attended 
Lincoln High School, graduating in 1958. Carol married Ellis R. Pace in 
the family home in 1963. Carol and Ellis enjoyed traveling and sampling 
the local cuisine. Carol was devoted to her family. She never missed a 
family gathering and was very involved with her nieces and nephews. 
She also frequented the local Bingo establishments where she met a 
great many friends and had many lasting relationships. Carol is survived 
by her husband, Ellis; sisters, Barbara Stevenson of Tacoma and Sally 
Holcomb of Puyallup; brother, Doug Edwards of Enumclaw and many 
nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Franciscan Hospice group for 
their support and quality care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent 
to Franciscan Hospice. Visitation, Monday, Nov. 19 from 4 to 8 PM at 
Dryer Mortuary. Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001 at 
2:00 PM at the Evergreen Chapel of the New Tacoma Cemetery. Pub
