Albert Ray Pugh 

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, in Wilhelm Funeral Home 
for Albert Ray Pugh, who died May 1 at age 85. Mr. Pugh was born Dec. 9, 1919, in 
Miles City, Mont. He moved to Eugene in 1946 and later to Portland, where he was a 
railroad brakeman and then a custodian at Lincoln High School. In the late 1970s, he 
moved to Montana, and last October returned to Portland. In 1943, he married Viola 
Boschee; they divorced. Survivors include his daughters, Myrtle Smith and Dee 
Morrison; son, Charles; brother, Ed; sisters, Charlotte Gresser, Vivian Rogers and Velma 
Hayward; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
