Ruby (Knight) PUETZ Mrs. Ruby (Knight) Puetz passed away on June 5th, following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 83. Born on October 25, 1921, to Ruby Knight and John Knight, Ruby grew up in Seattle and attended Cascade Elementary and graduated from Broadway High School in 1940. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Puetz of Seattle, grandson Charles Puetz of Mukilteo, WA, sister Frances Graber of Seattle, and many nieces and nephews. Ruby was the loving sister of 7 siblings: Earl, Harry, and Orville Knight, Clifford, Baby Bobbie, Evelyn Johnson (all deceased) and Frances Graber who resides in Seattle. Ruby was an integral part of the long time family business, Puetz Golf, where she used to greet customers with a warm smile every day. She was an accomplished golfer and long time member of Inglewood Golf and Country Club. During her free time she enjoyed sewing and knitting and was accomplished at both. Ruby also became a good bowler and was seen at the lanes when not on the golf course. Ruby found time to give to others through her membership in Variety Club and Children's Orthopedic Guild work. Of all the spare time activities she most enjoyed the company of her sister, Fran, and lady friends' league play at Inglewood Golf and Country Club until Alzheimer's made it impossible for her to play any longer.
