Jane L. Pace

A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March
21, 2004, in First Christian Church in Portland for
Jane L. Pace, who died March 14 at age 91. 

Jane Lovett was born June 11, 1912, in Minneapolis.
She moved in 1921 to Portland, and later lived in
Vernonia and returned in 1958 to Portland. She
graduated from Oregon College of Education and Western
Washington State College. She was a teacher for the
Vernonia School District and later for Portland Public
Schools, including at Martin Luther King Elementary
School. In 1941, she married Wesley K. 

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Shirley
Mitchell; son, Marvin; sister, Marion Roemhildt; and
three grandchildren.
