Gladys J. Puffer 

Gladys J. Puffer died Sept. 15, 2005, at age 88. 

Gladys Gulsvig was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Postville,
Iowa. She moved to Portland in the early 1950s and was
a homemaker and a shirt press operator for Northwest
Industrial Laundry for 24 years. In 1938, she married
Arthur F.; he died in 1980. 

Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Puffer and
Mary Sumpter; and two grandchildren.
