Deogracias Lapitan PABALATE Born March 16, 1937 in Manila, Philippine Islands; died Sunday, May 30, 2004 in Seattle, WA. Deo was a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide for his family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosalina Pabalate; 9 children, Mary Jane Calderon (Joshua), Maria Criselda Pabalate, Maria Graciosa Olson (Michael), Maria Florencia Slattery (Kevin), Maria Luisa Mays (Kurtis), Jo-Ann Pabalate, Maria Rosario Pabalate, Deogracias Pabalate, Jr., and Peter-Angel Pabalate; 11 grandchildren, Jaydee and Justin Calderon, Ethan Thomas, Nicholas and Haley Olson, Cameron, Collin, Connor and Currin Mays, and Taylor and Shaylen Slattery. Also survived by his relatives in Alabama and Texas. Deo emigrated from the Philippines in 1969 and worked for the University of Washington for 30 years. Viewing will be today, Wednesday, and Thursday, June 3rd, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel Recitation of the Rosary will be Friday, June 4th, at 6:30 p.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 5th, at 10 a.m., BOTH at Our Lady of the Lake Church.
