Joan Hansen Picchena Joan Hansen Picchena, 67, died July 13, 2004, at home in Bellevue, WA. Joan was born August 31, 1936, in Seattle, WA, and attended public school at Clover Park High School in Tacoma before attending college at both the University of Washington and the University of Hawaii. She lived most of her adult life in Edmonds, WA, and had recently moved to Bellevue, WA. Joan was a real estate agent for over 35 years, primarily with Windermere Realty. She could always be counted on to lend an ear, create a smile, or share a tear. Joan is survived by: her husband, Bill Picchena; daughters, Jill Picchena of Seattle, Jacque Vontver and husband Ross of Bellevue, and Jodi Broer and husband Grant of Brush Prairie, WA; and five adoring grandchildren, Jillian and Roy Vontver, Brendon, Jared and Jack Broer. Services will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00am at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 1531 Bradner Pl. S., Seattle. Burial will be at Washelli Cemetery, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. July 23, 2004 Everett Herald
