Regina Philan 

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in
the chapel of Shaarie Torah Cemetery for Regina
Philan, who died Dec. 5 at age 83. 

Regia Babani was born March 8, 1923, in Portland,
where she lived all her life. She graduated from
Commerce High School and was a bookkeeper and a
50-year member of the synagogue. In 1943, she married
Max; he died in 1989. 

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Macktinger; son,
Ben; sisters, Joy Russell, Lee Funes and Mary Peizner;
four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
