Bobbie Jean Pugh 

Bobbie Jean Pugh of Woodburn died Sept. 13, 2008, at age 78. 

Bobbie Jean Shepherd was born May 24, 1930, in North Wilksboro, N.C., and moved 
to Sunnyside, Wash., in 1939. A homemaker, she lived in areas throughout the 
Northwest, including Portland, Boise and Seattle, before moving to Woodburn in 1988. 
She won amateur golf championships in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1951, she married 
Don Pugh; he died in 2002. 

Survivors include her daughters, LeeAnn Bush and Nancy Corneliussen; son, Stewart; 
sister, Betty Jo Ramsey; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
