Regina (Jean) SORIANO Born in Seattle, Washington, April 2, 1912, died April 24, 2001, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton at the age of 89. She resided in Bremerton for the past 68 years and was a member of the Children's Orthopedic Guild and Eastern Star. She also was very active in the Bremerton Jewish Community and a long standing member of the Congregation Ezra Bessaroth. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her special cooking, her sense of humor and her joy of life. She was a very special lady. Survivor include two daughters, Myrna Wiener of Bremerton and Leatrice Keller and her husband, Jim Keller, of Mercer Island; a son, Jerry Soriano of Bremerton; a sister, Victoria Piha of Seattle; and a brother, Morris Piha of San Francisco; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Eliezer Soriano, her son Lawrence Eliezer Soriano, and her sister, Mildred Spagnoli. Services will be held at the Sephardic Cemetery in Seattle on Thursday, April 26 at 1 p.m. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Seattle Times
