Dorothea I. Travis 

A funeral will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, in Finley's Sunset Hills Mortuary for 
Dorothea I. Travis, who died Feb. 15 at age 88. 

Dorothea Peacher was born Aug. 11, 1916, in Cobden, Ill. She moved to Portland in 
1942 and was a store clerk and seamstress for the athletic department at Portland 
State University. In 1963, she married William Sr.; they divorced. 

Survivors include her sons, Willie Jr. and Wendell; daughter, Anita Travis-Motley; six 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
