VANDERVERT, Edythe Marie (Peachey) (Age 91) Passed away April 17, 2007 in Spokane, WA. She was born in Spokane March 4, 1916 to Alvin and Eleanor Peachey of Ford, WA. Her husband, Curtis C. Vandervert, and granddaughter, Edythe Ray Gappa, preceded her in death. Edythe lived her entire adult life in Spokane. She did very well during her school years, taking first-place in the state on achievement tests upon graduation from North Central High School in 1934. She was a parliamentarian and was the chief telephone operator for the Sears catalogue department in Spokane. Edythe is survived by two sons, Jim (Maggie) Vandervert,Larry (Betty Jean) Vandervert; one daughter,Linda (Don) Bissinger, all of Spokane, WA. Edythe was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who brought much wisdom, love and guidance to her family. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be Monday, April 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Holy Cross Mausoleum with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
